Who it is with:

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Full Stack Java Developer (VP) to support the growth of the infrastructure in the bank. You will work with leading engineers and build technology to grow one of the banking platforms. The platform you will cover application & infrastructure across their private cloud platform, using cloud technologies across GCP, Azure and AWS

What you will be doing:

• You will be responsible for writing code, pairing with other developers as appropriate, and decomposing acceptance criteria to understand team backlog deliverables, complexities, and risks while working as a strong contributor on an agile team.
• This role supports the Technology Reference Data team for the Bank.

What you will need:

• Good track record of relevant experience in design and development of Java-based systems.
• Experience with real-time messaging and ingestion e.g., Apache Kafka
• Solid understanding of front-end technologies such as Angular or ReactJS
• Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
• Passionate believer in the value of continuous integration, testing and deployment following a test-driven development (TDD) approach
• Ability to work in distributed teams across multiple time zones
• Quick learner of new tools and technologies
• Education:
• Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
